Job DescriptionWe are currently recruiting Wireless Surveyors for our expanding wireless teams in Ireland. The candidate will form a key part of the project team and work directly with our project manager and our clients. The role is predominantly site based with some follow-up office/desktop work. Travel to and from sites nationwide is an integral part of the job. They will be joining a very experienced team of talented individuals with expertise across a wide variety of engineering disciplines and proven success in delivering large scale projects.Reporting toProject ManagerRole and ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:Observe client specific site access procedures (log on and off site)Carry out risk assessments on site prior to work commencing and report any visible hazards or defects from site by way of a red flagImplement control measures as required to enable the survey to be completed in a safe mannerObtain & accurately record all existing site information and propose the optimal solution based on client specification and any known constraintsComplete the following site surveys on Greenfield, CoLo and Rooftop Sites;o Multi Skilled Visito Technical Site Surveyo Visual Impacto Line of Siteo Pre-Construction Survey / Pre-Installation Visito Post Construction Surveyo Structural ClimbdownSurvey for new build and upgrade scopes of workSurvey for passive and active scopes of workPropose value engineered solutions for the following elements;o Civils – Access Tracks, Structure Foundations & Plinthso Power & Fibre Routeso Structure Typeso Active Equipment / SolutionsCollate the information gathered in a concise manner incl. survey notes, sketches, photos and present it clearly for submission to the clientCompile all project specific reports and associated documentation with a strong focus on quality, deadlines and deliverablesLiaise with PMO throughoutAssist with resolving any queries to enable sites to progress to Design as quickly as possibleClimbing on towers & monopolesCompetenciesClient focused problem-solving approachExcellent written and verbal communicationSelf-motivated, assertive and enthusiasticAbility to prioritise tasks & work to tight deadlinesProfessional, positive & organisedEngineering SketchingMicrosoft office suite skills – Excel & WordSetting out using tape & RTK GPS advantageousUAV / Drone experience advantageousWilling to travelQualificationsProven industry experience or 3rd Level degree with focus on engineeringEvidence of on-going professional developmentVendor / Industry trainingExcellent written and spoken English requiredCertsSafepassClimbing & RescueSite Access Certs (ESBT, 2rn, CIE etc)EMF AwarenessFull clean driving licenceExperience2 to 5+ years in engineering or utilities sectorExposure to telecoms vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, SamsungWireless Telecoms rollout (Survey / Rigging / I&C)Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
