We offer flexibility, career progression and a competitive start rate.We are currently looking for a Waste Operative to join our team in Model Farm Road, Co CorkWorking Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 08.00-17.00 & Friday: 08.00-13.00Main duties and responsibilitiesGeneral services operatives are responsible for dealing with on-site hazardous and non-hazardous waste management. Duties, not restricted to, are as follows:Loading of curtain siders and containers by use of ForkliftTo service hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection points throughout the client siteEmpty Non-hazardous binsEmpty Hazardous waste binsFilling and use of the general waste compactorFilling and use of the Dry Mixed Recyclable Compactor Baling of cardboard, plastic, and paper waste streams.Completion of all relevant paperwork with regard to non-hazardous waste, other paperwork and admin duties.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in Environmental or Waste management is desirable but not essential.Ability to demonstrate awareness of Health and Safety good practice in relation to cleaning procedures.Previous experience in similar role is an advantageForklift training is a distinct advantage. IND2We are happy to hear from anyone with skills in these areasPlease fill-up the application and upload your CV to apply
