We are now heralded as one of Ireland’s most exciting retail stores, with a host of award-winning cafes, restaurants and food markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far. Role DescriptionThe opportunity has arisen for a full-time Warehouse Operative to work in Avoca Central Stores, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start, working 40 hours per week, on a 5 over 7 basis. ResponsibilitiesStock control through use of the EPOS system.Picking orders through use of our replenishment system.Packing and processing of orders.Working within a team to ensure dispatch is running efficiently.Processing orders from an end-to-end process.Goods inwards and Outwards.Loading and unloading of vans. Ad-hoc duties as determined by the Manager.RequirementsExperience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is a distinct advantage.Communicate effectively with team members.Experience working with wireless handhelds devices in a warehouse environment.Good attention to detail, accuracy and adhering to Avoca’s high standard of service.Experience in cycle counting and full stock takes.Goods inwards & outwards experience.
