With measured success, will come opportunities for further career progression.While our HQ is based in Kansas, the role is remote ‘field based’. You will reside preferably within the Central to Western coast states of the USA.This role of Business Development Manager includes responsibility to develop and support ‘new and existing’ sales channel partners across the central / western states of the USA. Vitalograph is the world’s leading manufacturer of medical respiratory diagnostic devices, software used to diagnose respiratory disorders, and advanced high-reliability equipment and software systems used in respiratory end-point clinical drug trials. We have the most extensive range of respiratory diagnostic solutions globally available. Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager:·      Increase Vitalograph Market share across sectors of the respiratory markets and support the achievement of the sales & measurable KPI targets.Provide Product user support during trials, installation and post-sale education and service.Deliver the end user customer & Dealership based product training plans, and effectively transfer knowledge and empower customers to use Vitalograph products effectively and independently.Comply with mandatory training and attend local and abroad training programs as required, to maintain and develop the knowledge required to fulfil the role effectively.Collaborate with: United States USA Distributor partners and sub-dealers to develop innovative activities to achieve sales targets and to allow the Vitalograph business to gain market share and differentiate from its competitors.Work in partnership with the Vitalograph product management teams, EVP- Global markets, internal marketing, technical and Clinical application teams.Maintain and develop relationships with KOLS and strategically important end user, clinical and economic stakeholders.Develop in-depth understanding of the needs and objectives of customers on all levels, both clinical and economic stakeholders to develop tailored solutions which maximize Vitalograph’s market gain potential.Maintain knowledge of competitors’ products, activities and strategies in the United States USA region as appointed. Requirements as a Business Development Manager:·      Minimum of a Degree (Respiratory Therapy, Medical, Nursing, or Biomedical science equivalent) & have at least 5-10 years relevant commercial / clinical sales experience.·      Fluent in English both verbal and written communication.·      Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships quickly.·      Have the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders across all demands of respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic markets.·      Must be self-disciplined, organised, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business objectives.·      Must be highly motivated and have a strong desire to succeed in a demanding role.·      Trained to apply advanced Microsoft package skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook·      Full & clean driving license.·      Resident within United States USA (must live within designated geographical region)·      Business travel can be up to and occasionally exceed 50% of the working week.·      Must be willing to travel internationally and internally within the USA as requested (e.g. overseas meetings and training courses).
