UK Clinical Trials Project Manager

We are based in a rural setting in Maids Moreton, Buckingham in purpose-built offices. We are now looking to recruit a Clinical Trials Project Manager within our Clinical Trials Project Delivery team.  Vitalograph is a world leading manufacturer of medical respiratory diagnostic devices and software, used in the diagnosis of respiratory conditions, in Primary Care, Secondary Care and Occupational Health. We are a family run business and currently in our 61st year. Reporting to Senior Project Manager/ Project Director, you will provide excellent customer service by managing/coordinating multiple internal functions/stakeholders to deliver external products & services for diverse & complex clinical trials projects with limited supervision, in-line with customer expectations & requirements.  Responsibilities as a Clinical Trials Project Manager:·        Accountability for the planning and execution of Clinical Trials’ service delivery projects ranging from moderately to highly complex.·        Use established Vitalograph Project, Risk, Actions, Issue & Discussion management tools & processes effectively to ensure information is readily available to internal & external stakeholders, to support problem solving, decision making and work planning.·        Direct and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, understand, and define customer requirements, and provide deliverables that meet customer needs.·        Understand and explain Vitalograph products and services to customers.·        Act as Primary point of contact for customer Project Lead(s).·        Accountability for Risk Management within assigned projects; lead/direct internal & external stakeholders to identify, assess & mitigate potential project risks·        Assignment of Project team member(s)’ tasks & responsibilities to deliver services for assigned projects.·        Ensure GCP compliance according to Vitalograph’s QMS.·        Report on study progress to internal & external stakeholders.·        Management of project issues of limited to high complexity, including identification, response, root cause analysis, CAPA.·        Ensure correct creation, review, approval, and storage of project documentation as required by Vitalograph QMS.·        Occasional national or international travel to represent Vitalograph at business meetings or for training. Requirements as a Clinical Trials Project Manager:·        Effective risk management.·        Efficient planning & organisation.·        Excellent delegation skills.·        Excellent written & verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.·        Effective leadership and presentation skills.·        Highly competent with the use of Project Management tools (MS Project or equivalent)·        Good IT skills – including use of MS Office or equivalent (excel/word/outlook).·        Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals & terminology.·        Knowledge of Risk-based Management process.·        Understanding of GCP and Medical and Clinical Trials Terminology.·        2+ years’ relevant Customer Management experience.·        2+ years’ Project Management & 2+ years’ Clinical Trials experience.·        Extensive experience of issue management, root cause analysis & CAPA implementation.·        Experience of working to SOP.·        5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths & English.·        Degree (2:2 or higher). Desirable:·        Project Management Qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE, CAPM, PMP). Management Qualification (e.g. ILM, CMI).·        Risk Management Qualification (e.g. MoR).
