Transport Coordinator

FLI Precast Solutions are seeking applications for the position of a Transport Coordinator to join our busy and growing Transport department at our manufacturing facility in Kilnock, Ballon, Co. Carlow. The Transport Coordinator will assist the Transport Manager in the planning, administration and coordination of delivery of precast concrete products throughout Ireland, UK and Europe. This is a full-time, permanent role.Roles and Responsibilities:Assist the Transport Manager in the preparation and distribution of loading lists and delivery schedules.Preparation and management of transport purchase orders.Liaise with internal departments regarding the progress of manufacturing in preparation for delivery.Tracking of project transport costs and number of deliveries.Management and organisation of commercial invoices for loads dispatched to UK.Organisation of customs clearance paperwork and commodity codes.Liaise with customers to provide updates on delivery plans.Respond to internal and external transport queries promptly.General administration and record-keeping duties.Scheduling and monitoring of transport when required.Act as point of contact for drivers and customers in absence of the Transport Manager.Other reasonable duties which may be assigned by the Transport Manager or his/her designees.   The Ideal Candidate:Previous experience in a similar role.English language fluency is essential, both written and spoken.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, in particular, Microsoft Word and Excel.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.Knowledge of customs clearance requirements an advantage but not essential.Ability to work on own initiative.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive salary depending on experience.23 days annual leave.Company pension plan with matched employer contributions.Death in service benefit.Educational Assistance Programme.About FLI:FLI Precast Solutions design and manufacture precast concrete elements for a variety of applications in the Data, Energy, Water and Aviation Industries in Ireland, UK and Europe.
