Trade Counter Supervisor

An exciting opportunity for a Trade Counter Supervisor has become available at our TJ O’ Mahony Prosperous Branch, Co. Kildare, W91 DA3A, part of HPC Sales Ltd., Irelands’ leading Builders Providers, Home Improvement and DIY Store Job Purpose: Lead a strong team environment on the Trade Counter, ensuring it runs smoothly and effectively. Promoting products to our customers, providing best in class customer service, driving sales and the future growth of the business. Duties and Responsibilities:·       Managing the Trade Counter and counter sales team, ensuring targets and margins are clearly communicated, monitored regularly and met.·       Coordinating online sales and interbranch transfers for same.·       Dealing directly with customers in terms of sales, and quotations.·       Liaising with transport on customer deliveries.·       Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels, including control of dormant stock and returns to suppliers.·       Maintaining excellent Store presentation and ensuring best practice in terms of Health & Safety standards. ·       Managing holidays and punctuality for Trade Counter staff.·       Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.Requirements:·       Excellent communicator, leadership and interpersonal skills.·       Meet monthly sales goals and improve customer satisfaction levels.·       Product knowledge.Hours: 40 Hours, Monday to SaturdayHPC Sales Ltd. is an equal opportunities employer
