Recognised as a “Quality Employer” by the Irish Hotels Federation, we are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for both our guests and our team.As we prepare to launch our new Rooftop Thermal Spa, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Thermal Spa Manager to lead this exciting addition to our wellness offering.Role Description:The Thermal Spa Manager will be responsible for the overall operation, safety, and guest experience within the thermal and wellness areas. This role is central to creating a calm, immersive and restorative environment, while ensuring the highest standards of service, hygiene, and presentation.You will play a key role in shaping the guest journey and enhancing our wellness offering.Key Responsibilities: Operational ManagementOversee the daily operation of thermal facilities, including sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, and relaxation areasMaintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentationMonitor temperatures, water quality, and equipment performanceCoordinate closely with maintenance team to ensure optimal functionalityGuest ExperienceCreate and maintain a tranquil, premium environment for all guestsManage guest flow and capacity to ensure comfort and safetyEngage with guests, offering guidance on thermal spa journeysHandle guest feedback professionally and proactivelyHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnsure full compliance with all health and safety regulationsMaintain accurate water testing and hygiene recordsConduct regular risk assessmentsTrain team members on emergency procedures and safety protocolsTeam LeadershipLead, supervise, and support thermal spa attendantsDeliver training on service standards and operational proceduresAssist with recruitment, onboarding and team developmentCommercial & Experience DevelopmentEnhance the thermal spa offering through curated wellness experiencesIdentify and develop revenue opportunitiesMonitor guest feedback and usage trends to inform improvementsSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of thermal spa or wellness operationsExceptional attention to detail and commitment to high standardsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesSolid understanding of health and safety regulationsQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in a spa or wellness environmentSupervisory or management experience essentialPool plant certification (desirable)First Aid certification (desirable)Why Join Us?This is a unique opportunity to be part of an exciting new spa launch within a well-established and highly regarded hotel.
