Recognised as a “Quality Employer” by the Irish Hotels Federation, we are committed to delivering an exceptional experience for both our guests and our team.As we prepare to launch our new Rooftop Thermal Spa, we are recruiting for the position of Thermal Spa Attendant.Job PurposeTo ensure the safe, hygienic and relaxing operation of the thermal spa area while delivering excellent guest service. The Thermal Spa Attendant will support the overall spa experience by maintaining facilities, assisting guests and upholding health and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome guests into the thermal spa area in a friendly and professional mannerProvide clear instructions on the use of thermal facilities (sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pools, etc.)Monitor guest activity to ensure safety and compliance with spa rulesMaintain cleanliness and hygiene of all thermal areas, including regular checks and cleaning schedulesEnsure towels, robes and amenities are stocked and presented to a high standardConduct routine temperature and safety checks of spa equipment and report any issuesRespond promptly to guest queries, needs or concernsEnforce health and safety policies, including emergency procedures if requiredSupport the wider spa team with general duties when neededKey Skills & CompetenciesExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and cleanlinessAbility to remain calm and professional in a wellness environmentAwareness of health and safety practicesTeam player with a proactive attitudeAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in a spa, leisure, or hospitality environment (preferred)Basic knowledge of thermal spa facilities and wellness practices (desirable)First Aid certification (preferred)Working ConditionsShift work including evenings, weekends, and public holidaysPhysically active role (standing, walking, light lifting)Warm and humid working environment Benefits: Free meal on duty/uniform/family & friends discounts/free car parking facilities/Employee Awards
