The Boland name is associated with 25 retail locations in Ireland including Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Limerick, Wexford, and Waterford. The group employs over 1000 people across all sectors of the motor industry. In addition to motor retail the group also operates a rental car company Hertz Car Rental, Hertz Car sales, Travel logistics company – NVD, and Trade sales, a B2B used car stock company.The Boland Group is licensed by all the major financial institutions including manufacturer backed finance companies such as AIB, BOI Close Brothers, Alphera, RCI, Lombard, Blue Stone and Volkswagen Financial services. The aim of the Boland Group Graduate Programme is to provide each candidate with an overall knowledge of how the groups dealerships run day-to-day, and to equip each candidate with the skills and experience needed to be a quality leader within the group.Candidate Criteria:A relevant bachelor’s degreeA minimum 2:1 or expected 2:1 overall result.A full drivers license is an advantage but not essential.Legal right to work in Ireland for the duration of the programme.Motivated & hard workingStrong customer service skillsGood sense of initiativeTime management skillsAbility to work as part of a team.What to expect?You will get to work straight away and learn throughout the job and classroom-based training.You will be guided the whole way by a dedicated team of employees.Your own mentors will also play a vital role in progressing your development.You will encounter many challenges along the way and learn how to solve problems as part of a team.You will get additional educational opportunities within your programme to help you develop and progress.You will have constant support from the programme co-coordinator and previous Graduate programme employees.The programmes are varied and range from Sales & Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Accounts & Admin.More info of what we have to offer can be found on our website at www.thebolandgroup.ie.Training:Most of the training and experience will be hands on and gained on the job.
