Clerical Officer (Grade V)Procurement DepartmentTemporary Contract. Full Time Hours.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with the full Procurement Cycle for goods and services, including market consultation ensuring that the Business arrives at the Purchase to Pay (P2P) stage. Identify and acquire the best possible value for money from external sources at an early stage Work with the procurement team on Contract Management best practice, assisting the management and monitoring of deliverables/KPIs outlined in the contracts to ensure efficiency and maximize contract performance Monitor and report on contract performance, audits and risks escalationsAudit contract performance with the procurement team of all projects on a regular basis and assist with overseeing projects from start to completion, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.Evaluate standard operating procedures and implement where appropriate.Coordinate repair log management for non-medical repairs.Review, negotiate and manage Service Maintenance Contracts.To observe strict rules of confidentiality on any information gained as part of a tender process and / or project.Eligibility Criteria - Qualifications and/or Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience working in a Procurement environment or in a similar large organization.Working knowledge of procurement process in advantageous.Experience in using ICT systems essential.Customer service experience is an advantage.Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.Experience in dealing with large volumes of complex data in a large organization.Experience of managing competing priorities and deadlines, where the ability to analyse and interpret information to make decisions quickly and accurately is required, as relevant to the role.Must have excellent planning and organisational skills.Excellent MS Office skills essential - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
