Principal Objective: Provide IT systems support for Dispensers, Tank Gauge, POS and back-office systems, across all systems supplied/ managed by TSG Technical Services. Key Responsibilities: · Provide 1st line technical systems support to customer base via telephone, teams chat, email and online tickets.· Assist in the project management of periodic system upgrades.· Provide information and guidance to station personnel in the proper support and maintenance of equipment.· Adhoc advice/ customer training of POS and back-office systems.· All work done for internal or external customers must be logged and updates recorded using the company prescribed incident management solution – currently Kimoce.· Maintain accurate and provide timely update of records.· Acquire and apply new knowledge and skills necessary to support POS, Tank Gauging systems, and Petrol Pump Calculators, across all systems supplied/ managed by TSG Technical Services.· Variable shift pattern available between the hours of 8am to 8pm.· Weekend rota working to be discussed during interview. Skills & Abilities - Essential · Good problem solving & troubleshooting skills.· Strong communication and organisational skills.· Ability to work to tight deadline with a flexible and customer focused approach.· Intermediate level of expertise in PC hardware and repair - Understanding and use of Windows Operating System, Windows Office products and Communications software.· Experience and knowledge of retail environment. Demonstrate ability to quickly learn using new software and technologies.· Ability to work without supervision. Skills & Abilities – DesirableExperience working with & supporting ePOS systems.Knowledge of back-office equipment.Experience in the Fuel Retail sectorKnowledge of forecourt control systemsTechnical Support experience.Previous experience or education in a systems/ application service desk environment.
