Registered Electrical Contractor, IS 3217; 2013. The RoleSuretank Ltd is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Director. The Supply Chain Director will reside within the External Manufacturing Team located in Dunleer, Co. Louth. The position will report to the COO and be accountable for ensuring reliability and quality of supply of materials to our manufacturing facility. Ensuring that demand and supply requirements are accurate and balanced, and the supply plan is maintained up to date in the company SAP systems. Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the sourcing and procurement of all indirect and direct materials, consumables and services for Suretank in a rapidly growing environmentLead the procurement/sourcing/supplier contracts, with skills in defining commercial terms and contract negotiationLead the team responsible for procurement, production planning/scheduling, supply chain manufacturing and warehousingLeads the production plan from a master schedule to a finite scheduleLead the planning, material, and stock team ensuring structure, processes, and systems are in place so that all the required materials are in place for productionStreamlines existing ERP system procedures and creates roadmaps for the site to achieve production targetsMeasure and report material shortages which are impacting the production plan.Maintain item master data, i.e., lead times, minimum order qty/order multiple, safety stock levels, etc. to ensure 100% system data accuracy at all times.Inventory management - manage inventory levels in line with agreed targets and report monthly on the status of inventory levels for assignDevelop and build a strong relationship with production teams, engineering, and sales to strengthen cross-functional collaboration.Build and develop the skills of the planning, material, and stock teams through coaching, mentoring, and encouragement of self-learning to enable robustness and flexibility of the team to support the businessSupport the business with detailed analytical views on the demand to supply signals available. The ability to operate in a commercially savvy and highly intelligent environment, being credible and authoritative with senior stakeholdersLook at business trends to ensure we are competitive in the sourcing of materials from around the worldCoordinates documentation of new processes with systematic training incorporated to insure sustainable improvements.Performs Value Stream Mapping of key Materials Management processes, identifying and facilitating Continuous Improvement activities.Facilitates the creation of inventory management plans that are backed by process improvements to improve key inventory metrics.Responsible for delivery of short-term and long-term results in order to develop and maintain credibility with the business and create opportunities for the function to add greater value to the business.Foster a culture of continuous improvement through active deployment and participation in removing waste from our supply chain processes.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required:APICS or related qualification5 years + Supply Chain experience in global manufacturing and supply environment.Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP Business One and related data analysis tools.Knowledge & understanding of planning master data.Strong leadership & communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Understanding of Manufacturing Supply Chain Operations.Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.An understanding of regulatory requirements and management of regulatory constraints.Company Benefits:Company Pension PlanCompany Healthcare PlanEmployee Referral Bonus ProgrammeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree Parking For more information about Suretank and career opportunities available view our webpage www.suretank.com  “Suretank is an equal opportunity employer.
