We are seeking a full-time experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated fostering team covering the North West of England.About us:Family Care are a family-owned social care provider working therapeutically with children for over 30 years. But no matter what their skills and experience, all our Foster Carers rely on support and guidance from our Supervising Social Workers, Support Workers and Managers.About the Role:As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting and supervising our foster carers to ensure that children and young people receive the highest standards of care. You will work closely with carers, children, and other professionals to promote positive outcomes and stable placements.The post will be based from our Chorley (Lancashire) office although some working from home will be permitted with prior approval from the Registered Manager / Practice Manager. Flexible working hours are essential. We require a commitment to some weekend work and unsocial hours to support foster carers, foster carer training, and children and young people.
