This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to join an established market leader, with a global footprint and a who's who of global clients. Job Purpose and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work in a close team environment and the ability to set and follow clear objectives.Exceptional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and participate in strategic projectsResponsibilities·      At least 2 years’ testing experience in the Hard Disk Drive Enterprise Storage industry orequivalent·      Strong understanding of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Solid State Drive (SSD) technology, product integrity & failure analysis·      Practical knowledge of ATA/SATA, SCSI/SAS interface, RAID configuration·      Proficient in HDD test software utilities such as sg_utils and smartmontools·      Familiar with Erasure software applications·      Well informed on data sanitisation standards (NIST 800-88, CESG)·      Experienced with Linux, ubuntu, centos, Windows operating systems. Familiar with remote management applications. i.e TightVNC, Remote Desktop Management etc.. A good understanding of SSH protocols.·      Knowledge of Microsoft Navision 2015, Dynamics, Azure & 365 would be an advantage·      Practitioner of ISO 9001 QMS & ISO 14001 Standards - desirable The Person·      Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or similar and at least 5 years direct experience·      A self-starter who will be able to work in a team-based environment·      Proven ability to resolve problems and issues utilizing appropriate resources
