Stock Controller

TCP Homecare is a healthcare service provider, specialising in ‘direct to patient services’ which include the dispensing and distribution of pharmaceutical products, homecare nursing services and sharps waste management, facilitating a unique turnkey solution for the delivery of hospital care in the patient’s home. The Stock Controller is responsible for overseeing the ordering of stock, ensuring stock levels are maintained and generating the necessary reports to support stock checks and KPIs in line with company processes and SOPs.This role would be ideal for a recent CIPS/CILT graduate, or an experienced stock controller/inventory coordinator with strong reporting skills and excellent attention to detail.Full time or part time arrangement is available in this role.Key Responsibilities: Maintain stock levels:Maintain accurate data on all stock, this includes drug, ancillary’s and assets. These details including; supplier(s), price, status, stock levels and any other relevant details.Maintaining stock levels with max/min thresholds. This includes forecasting stock usage, establishing regular orders, review expired stock and ensuring stock is not depleted.Creation and tracking of Purchase Orders on the database, including liaising with the Warehouse Team on the status of these orders.Responsible for the on-going review of stock pricing and negotiation.Support with Asset re-calibrations and managing re-calibrated assets back on to the system after Quality approval.System checks:Ensure that stock count and valuation is accurate, correct and completed routinely.Develop, maintain and work to the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure performance, stock accuracy, receiving or pick errors. Conduct stock and system spot checks, implementing any adjustments.Ensuring accurate process for stock level, stock counts, and expired stock. Managing the investigation and reporting if these inaccuracies.Reporting:The candidate must be competent with Excel, they must have the ability to pivot and manipulate data effectively.Prepare regular reports for internal stakeholder and for clients as required. Establish usage forecast and ensure all POs are maintained. Liaise with clients on stock levels, generate and distribute stock reports at agreed time period or when required.Compliance:Setting up of new suppliers in line with SOPs.
