Job Title:      Specialist Reproductive Health/Rights Counsellor (Previously Specialist Pregnancy Counsellor)Hours: 2 to 4 days per week 9 am - 5pmContract:      Permanent Salary:          Salary of €52,142.40 per annum pro-rata  The Irish Family Planning Association (IFPA) is Ireland’s leading sexual health provider. We provide a wide range of services in our Dublin medical clinics and nationwide counselling rooms, including specialist pregnancy counselling, abortion care and counselling, sexual and reproductive health services, and education and training.The IFPA is a pro-choice organisation and supports a person's decision in all cases. We are committed to advocating for every person in Ireland who needs reproductive healthcare has access to quality services with dignity. We are seeking suitably a qualified candidate to join our Specialist Reproductive Health/Rights Counselling team in Galway city. The counsellor will provide clients with non-directive and non-judgmental counselling, support, and information. This includes information on all their options, including abortion care, parenting, and adoption. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Director of Counselling and where necessary, the IFPA clinical teams. The successful applicant will require:A counselling qualification of at least Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications, or equivalent.Full Accreditation with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI), or equivalent.
