Social Care Worker Children's Respite 19.5 hours

Are you person-focused, empathetic, compassionate, and good at working on a team? We have a vacancy in Children’s Respite. Contract: Permanent, part time 19.5hr. (days and nights). Candidates should possess the following: Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or equivalent for SCW posts.A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centered systems, services and supports and awareness of Positive Behavior Supports.·        Experience of working with children who have an intellectual disability.·        Experience of a residential setting is desirable.·        Be innovative, resourceful, flexible and have excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative and co-ordination skills.·        Ability to work both in a busy team environment and independently.·        Ability to support and facilitate independent living and community integration.Must have a full manual driving licence  Informal enquiries to: megan.smith@sjog.ie  Closing date: Shortlisting will apply
