Social Care Leader/CNM1 Full Time Permanent PostSaint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East Services are now inviting applications for the post of Social Care Leader/CNM1.Dublin South East provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in South Dublin.This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned service in the intellectual disability sector. We are funded by the HSE and as such the role is within the public service and subject to annual increments, generous annual leave, and pensions. The successful candidate(s) will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users. Role SummaryApplications are invited for the post of Social Care Leader supporting individuals with an intellectual disability in our Residential Service. This is a person centred, dynamic and challenging 24/7 service. Minimum RequirementsReporting to the Person In Charge, the Social Care Leader/CNM1 should have the following: Minimum QQI level 7 in Applied Social Studies/Social Care.If applying for CNM1, be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably RNID trained.A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centred systems services and supports.A minimum of 2 years working with people who have an intellectual disability.Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards, and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models.Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and change management.The ability to motivate and develop a staff team and ensure staff implement organisational policies and procedures.A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of a 24/7 serviceA Full Manual Driver’s LicenseRemunerationSalary Grade 3030 – Social Care Leader on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale.€52,441 - €61,241 LocationThe location of this role is Dublin South East. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS’s other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
