About the Role:The Site Manager will oversee all mechanical and electrical aspects of the data centre water treatment project delivery on projects throughout Europe. This role involves managing the installation and commissioning of water treatment systems via the use of sub-contractors and EPS resources to ensure they meet project specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical or process water engineering along with excellent leadership skills and experience in site management. Based at our head office in Mallow, Co. Cork initially but with extended travel to Finland and mainland Europe to oversee the project.Key Responsibilities:Manage Site Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation of specialist water treatment plant and associated pipework and instrumentation. This will include the electrical aspects of the project and the associated control panels and automation systemsCoordinate with Stakeholders: Liaise with project managers, sub-contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution, strong stakeholder management requiredTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor the mechanical team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environmentQuality Assurance: Ensure all works comply with project specifications, standards and regulationsSite Supervision: Supervise mechanical and electrical subcontractors, ensure adherence to safety protocols and monitor progress of the project against the program of worksCommissioning and Testing: Oversee the commissioning and testing of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionalityProblem Solving: Identify and resolve any project issues promptly to avoid project delays, communicating any issues back to the EPS Project ManagerDocumentation: Maintain accurate records of mechanical installations, inspections, and testing. Review the installation programme and report to the EPS project manager.
