Job title:                                                 Shot Blaster Reporting to:                            Production Supervisor  The Role: Shot Blaster (Dunleer Facility)Operates equipment to clean dirt, scale, and core materials from steel sections with blasts of steel shot.Key Responsibilities:Candidate Skills:Operates equipment to clean dirt, scale, and core materials from steel sections with blasts of steel shot. Using control panels to control aughers, conveyors and other equipment to fill the blast potMask or cover specified areas to protect from blast materialLoad and unload parts onto trestles and palletsEnsure blasted parts conform to the specifications, i.e., SA 2.5.Recover and reuse shot material where necessaryForklift licence beneficial in moving parts into and out of blast roomStops equipment to clear jams, replace parts.
