Under the leadership of our M&E Manager, we focus on all production installations and utility facilities, with specialized maintenance tasks handled by suppliers. This role involves working in shifts, with a primary focus on troubleshooting to ensure the factory remains operational.Your roleAs a Maintenance Technician, you'll be the key player in executing corrective maintenance tasks across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and (limited) E&I/control engineering. You'll also perform preventive maintenance tasks in parts of the factory, ensuring everything runs efficiently and safelyWhat You'll Do:Troubleshooting: You'll locate faults using various measuring instruments, determine causes, and assess whether immediate repair is necessary or possible. You'll fix issues by dismantling equipment using hand tools or by making parts using machines for bench work, sheet metal work, and machining operations. You'll test and check the functionality, escalate complex issues to technical specialists or external mechanics, discuss specifics with the maintenance planner and/or technical specialists, perform emergency repairs in consultation with the supervisor, and support production personnel during equipment startup.Inspection and Maintenance: You'll conduct periodic inspections and maintenance in the areas of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and E&I based on the preventive maintenance schedule. You'll assess the condition of maintenance, check for wear, leaks, safety, etc., note findings, repair (imminent) defects if possible, report findings with details of nature and severity, and perform preventive and planned maintenance.Assistance: You'll assist in more extensive or complex repairs performed by technical specialists or external mechanics and collaborate on new construction tasks performed by suppliers.Improvement: You'll propose improvements for the frequency/content of maintenance and regarding revisions and modifications.Data Management: You'll account for time spent and material usage, record changes in the preventive maintenance schedule, drawings, instructions, etc.Other Tasks: You'll provide technical guidance to operators during troubleshooting or maintenance tasks.Responsible Functioning: You'll comply with applicable rules regarding occupational health and safety, environmental care, GMP, and HACCP.
