Senior Technical Solutions Engineer

Job DescriptionDue to our expanding business we are recruiting for a well organised, enthusiastic Technical Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic wireless team. The candidate will form a key part of the project team and will liaise directly with the client. The role is based in our client’s office in Dublin with travel to our Limerick office. They will be joining a very experienced team of talented individuals with expertise across a wide variety of engineering disciplines and proven success in delivering large scale projects.Reporting toProject ManagerRole and ResponsbilitiesEnsure customers’ expectations are fulfilled & build confidence & trustWork with clients to define project design & technical guidelinesProvide technical support for the project team in the areas of Radio, Transmission, Power, Structural, rigging all while considering the optimal solution as per client requirements & constraintsAssess design proposals for electrical and HVAC compatibilityKnowledge sharing and upskilling project team Create and execute current work plans and development strategy to meet customer requirementsRecognise process deficiencies and implement effective solutions across projectsCommunicate and enforce current project-specific and industry standards and specifications internally & externallyChallenge others to develop skills/knowledge while serving as a role modelFacilitate effective interaction between onsite & office teams Ensure high quality product is delivered to the Client Ensure SLAs are being achievedComplete site technical documentationHighlight specialist design checks requiredDevelop new business opportunitiesProject status updating to Client & 4site Project Manager ExperienceProven industry experience or 3rd Level degree with focus on engineering / telecomsA broad knowledge and understanding of the various site solutions, emerging technologies and passive/active infrastructure as part of wireless network rolloutEvidence of on-going professional development10 years of telecoms rollout as a key technical decision maker and client interfaceRadio engineering or transmission backgroundExcellent working knowledge of wireless technologies for mobile networksDetailed vendor knowledge of Antenna System, BBU and Tx components PC Literate (proficient in MS Office) with good reporting and communication skillsInstallation & Commissioning / Field Engineering experience beneficialFull clean driving licencePersonal AttributesClient focused attitude & excellent customer facing skillsProfessional, positive & organised problem-solving approachAbility to prioritise tasks & work to tight deadlinesKeen to learn & develop skillsStrong team playerGood communicator & IT literateAttention to detailDriven to succeedIndustry & market insightSalary: Negotiable depending on experience
