Problem-solving skills are a must as you'll encounter challenges along the way, but with your resourcefulness and collaborating with colleagues, you'll find solutions to keep things moving smoothly.The OpportunityAs Bathroom Solutions Specifier, you will be responsible for interpreting all the available information and client requirements to generate specifications for the SONAS Bathrooms range of products across a broad variety of project types. The emphasis will be on generating work to a high standard of accuracy and suitability. Each project requires management from enquiry to early design, preparation and close while supporting the commercial sales team in the market as required. Our Mission is to create long lasting, stylish and sustainable products, expertly crafted; and supported with exceptional customer service.Role ResponsibilitiesInterpret technical drawings to enable preparation of bathroom quotations for Commercial & Residential projectsManage quote submittals and responsesCarry out site visits prior to sales order to ensure specification is fit for purposePresent proposed bathroom specifications to contractor, and/or architect, including alternatives as requiredPreparation of monthly reports and commercial sales representative reports (on site & pipeline etc)Liaise with commercial sales managers/sales representatives and provide support in dealing with any project related mattersProvide data sheets and relevant DOP certs in support of quotationsUse of CRM system to manage quotations, quote status, assigning opportunities, and conversion trackingPre-sales support by reaching out to various professionals connected with upcoming projects, to secure appointments with sales managers and representativesSupport and initiate continuous improvement of processes and tasks to create capacity and improve the quality of outputDevelop sales team product knowledge with ongoing trainingMeet with and develop/maintain relationships with key accounts (contractors) related to residential/commercial projects ensuring SONAS are securing share of their businessSupport the sales team in market with technical knowledgeLead and work autonomously with customers where required on technical mattersSupport Product Department with ongoing product development ensuring SONAS product offering meets the necessary design, technical specification and standardsGeneral ResponsibilitiesEffectively plan and manage your workload and timeApproach tasks with a customer centric mindsetSeek out opportunities to improve our processes and service levels for the Company's long-term benefitUndertake any work assigned to you by the Company to the best of your abilityIn your dealings with colleagues, customers, and suppliers adhere to the Company's Values: Support; Openness; New Thinking; Ambition; SustainabilityKey SkillsHigh level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel & PowerPointHigh aptitude in the use of Adobe Professional or similarCore sales ability and ability to co-create solutions with customers.Excellent presentation skillsRelevant experience in the plumbing, heating or construction industry is desirableQualified Plumber or third level qualification in Construction Management, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or similar is desirable but not essentialFluency in written and spoken English requiredFull clean driving licenceBenefits€50,000-€55,000 depending on experienceCompany vehicle, laptop and mobile phone providedAccess to company pension scheme with employer contributionsChristmas bonusGenerous employee discountVHI employee assistance programBike to work schemeEmployee Referral SchemeCareer development opportunities Hours of Work Monday- Friday 8.30 am-5.00 pmOffice based roleSONAS is known for its unique culture with strong company values which places our people, customers and business stakeholders at the heart of what we do.
