The successful applicant will be offered the opportunity for training and development so that we can achieve the best outcome for our residents, while at the same time supporting our staff in their professional development.Job Objectives:The person appointed will be required to work closely with Director of Service and the MDT Team to facilitate our Service Users Social Work needs.Talbot Disability Services has a range of houses on the site in Stamullen as well as County Meath and Kildare, North County Dublin, Co. Louth, Co. Wicklow, Co. Monaghan, and Co. Cavan. The core values of Dignity, Respect, Kindness and Engagement underpin the person-centred service we provide.The aim of the service is firstly to enhance the individual’s quality of life and second to promote more adaptive interactions between a person and their environment. Essential Experience Hold a relevant qualification as a Social WorkerRegistered with Coru Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar roleExperience working with a multi-disciplinary teamExperience working with Children in an ID setting and with their familiesAbility to treat all with Dignity, Respect, Kindness and EngagementTeam player with good communication and interpersonal skillsWell organised with good administration and time management skillsOwn transport available for work purposes.
