Senior Sleep and Respiratory Physiologist

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Sleep and Respiratory Physiologist with a passion for patient care?Mater Private Network is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Senior Sleep and Respiratory Physiologist to join our growing team in the Sleep and Clinical Physiology lab.About the Role:In this role, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with sleep and respiratory disorders. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tests, including sleep studies, pulmonary function tests, and allergy testing. You will also be involved in patient education, data analysis, and quality assurance.You will:• Conduct sleep studies (PSG, MSLT) and manage CPAP therapy for patients with sleep disorders.• Perform a range of pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volumes, diffusion testing, and methacholine challenge testing.• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.• Provide patient education and counselling on sleep hygiene and respiratory management.• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.To be successful, you will:• Have a clinical measurement science or equivalent qualification• Have a minimum of three years of experience in sleep and respiratory physiology – preferred but not essential. • Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.• Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.• Be highly motivated and have a strong commitment to patient care.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:• Salary - €50,783 - €66,496 dependant on experience• Pension scheme• Critical illness cover• Discounted inpatient and outpatient treatment rates• Sick leave scheme• Financial support for career development• Staff Care Services Programme• Career break schemeReady to join our team?Apply now!We look forward to hearing from you!
