Key accountabilities & responsibilities: Accountable for long term strategic growth and profit of the business, capability to deputise for the Business Unit Director Responsible for the Management of product demand, availability, and placement from within the company’s supply base to provide seamless information to the commercial, technical, administrative departments and packing operations across the organisation. Plan all product required to fulfil customers’ requirements and monitor stock usages, profit, and loss responsibility. Responsible for the ownership or customers account and well as cost models for customer tenders. Monitoring customers performance against agreed KPI’s for period review meetings. Committed and demonstrate knowledge and expertise to all aspects of Food Safety across the supply chain. Assist in developing new customers for Keelings, within the boundaries of the current market, where customer specifications, innovative product ideas and most economical route to customer are imperative. Building long term sustainable relationships across commercial, procurement and supply chain. Developing a team and sharing and imparting knowledge. Assist in long term procurement plans and contractual negotiation by developing, mutually agreeable, strategic alliances with UK and European producers and importers. Relationship building within the company’s multiple customer base and throughout the produce industry. Key skills and knowledge required: Previous produce experience is required minimum 10 years Effective leadership skills Proven commercial expertise and acumen Excellent knowledge of the internal KBS system and office 365 Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proven decision-making skills Proven Analytical Skills Excellent English language Skill Proven problem-solving skills The role requires, requires flexibility and the ability to work under pressure often managing a number of critical issues at the same time.
