Location: Lucena Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services -Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with an under 18 population of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow. Senior Psychologist, (Permanent, Full time)Dun Laoghaire Team, Century Court The successful candidate will be flexible, committed and possess: § A recognised post graduate qualification in clinical/counselling Psychology and meet the PSI guidelines for employment as a clinical/counselling psychologist in the Irish Health Services.§ Evidence of eligibility for senior grade position§ Post qualification experience of working in a CAMHS service and competent in skill of diagnostic assessment and psychological therapy with children and adolescents with mental health disorders.§ Knowledge and experience of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy § Knowledge and experience of standardised testing in CAMHS (e.g. WISC-V; ADOS; ADI-R, MMPI-A)§ Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills§ An ability to manage workload, perform under pressure and achieve deadlines§ Excellent computer and analytical skills§ An ability to undertake and complete projects in relation to improvements in service delivery.§ Experience in professional and clinical supervision of junior colleagues§ A high capacity for responsibility together with excellent organisational, interpersonal, time management and communication skills with an ability to supervise and prioritise the workload of supervisees.
