Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWhilst working in this role you will be required to communicate effectively and with insight to senior and junior team members, along with Consultants and other MDT members. Duties will include:·     Assessing and provision of appropriate management of out-patient physiotherapy referrals·     Developing and administering high quality of service, identifying and implementing operational procedures in line with best practice standards·     Keeping abreast of new developments, skills and technology ·     Enhancing skills in order to initiate and respond to changes in the work environment·     Teaching and supervising staff/students as required and educating other health professionals·     Advise on the needs of the area and contribute to forward planning and development of the physiotherapy service.·     Participate in the Rota (a) Cardiac or and (b) Orthopaedic  QUALIFICATIONSTo be considered for this role you need: ·     A qualification recognised by the Registration Board at CORU·     Membership of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (MISCP)·     CPD including evidence of reflective practice, In-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained·     Post graduate courses relevant to a clinical specialty The above are all part of what makes up the full job description which can be requested.
