Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do. In the position of Senior Physiotherapist - Outpatients the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy service at Blackrock Clinic. The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting a clinical caseload as assigned by the manager and in accordance with service needs. Other aspects of the role are (but not limited to): Assess and provide appropriate management of patients referred for out-patient physiotherapyDevelop and administer the highest quality of service by identifying and implementing operational procedures in line with best practice standardsKeep abreast of new developments, skills and technology ensuring ongoing job competenceEnhance skills in order to initiate and respond to changes in the work environment Advise on the area needs, contributing to forward planning and development of the serviceParticipate in the week-end Rota (a) Cardiac or and (b) Orthopaedic Act as a mentor for Physiotherapy colleaguesDemonstrate leadership and advice as required on research methodologyLead in setting clinical standards using evidence based practice To be considered for this role you need: A qualification recognised by the Registration Board at CORUPost graduate courses relevant in Physiotherapy to clinical specialityDisplay evidence of reflective practice, in-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained The above are all part of what makes up the full job description which can be requested.
