Senior Occupational Therapist The Mater Private Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team.This is a full time, permanent position.Purpose of the PostProvide direct, high-quality occupational therapy assessment and treatment for patients.Collaborate with the Head of Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy to develop and improve the service.Ensure professional standards are maintained throughout the patient care process, from initial assessment and diagnosis to treatment planning and ongoing progress monitoring. Professional qualifications, registration, essential skills & knowledge.Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification which has been validated by the Minister of Health and ChildrenCORU registration.Experience in an acute hospital setting is preferableRequired minimum 3 years post-graduate experienceExperience in medical rehabilitation preferableAbility to use own initiative, work independently and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.High level of flexibility and problem solving skills to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage a high volume workload.Job description available on request. MATER PRIVATE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER
