In doing so, we offer a workplace that puts excellence and innovation at the forefront while championing a diverse and inclusive team.We are currently recruiting a Senior MICE Sales Manager to join our team at Carton House.Key Responsibilities: Attend morning briefing with M&E Team when on site, support M&E Team on ConversionWork collaboratively with other sales channelsConduct monthly quota of site inspectionsManage the Sports Market for the hotelUnderstand and actively utilize company marketing initiative/incentives to close businessAttend networking events and overseas tradeshows and sales missions for the MICE market and where applicable.Work with Local DMCs to arrange US Direct Sales Missions.Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.Generate new leads from Creation reports and Lost Business Reports.Manages the annual performance management process, in line with the Leadership Capability FrameworkThe successful candidate will have:Hospitality Management/BSCHave a real understanding of hotel operationsMinimum 3 years experience in a similar rolePrevious 4/5* hotel experience.Passion, energy, enthusiasm.Good presentation and influencing skillsThe ability to work under pressure.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to multitask many projects/ initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.Key focus is the US market – assist in larger pieces of business from ROW on occasion and when neededA structured and organized approach to work planningWhy work for Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel?To be part of Accor’s large global hospitality network.
