Kilkenny Design are currently recruiting for a passionate, independent, creative, and agile Senior Marketing Marketing to join our team.. The role will report to the CEO and head up the marketing function. This exciting role is responsible for the marketing of the Kilkenny Design brand, which includes 18 stores nationally and a thriving online store and has the responsibility for leading Champion Green, which is a movement founded and run by Kilkenny Design to support local businesses in Ireland. The Senior Marketing Manager will have strong digital experience and will create and deliver an effective marketing strategy and plan with the sole purpose of connecting and engaging Consumers with Kilkenny Design & Champion Green, both locally and globally. The role will be aligned to the company’s business and commercial strategy and in keeping with the long-term vision, culture, and values of the Kilkenny group. A key requirement is that the individual has a strong understanding of omnichannel retailing and consumer marketing, is strong commercially and is experienced in online customer acquisition and retention. Experience in CRM and loyalty is an important requirement. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead a team of talented marketing, CRM and design colleagues, and partner successfully with our designated agencies and partners of Kilkenny Design.Responsibilities:Marketing StrategyDevelop and implement commercial marketing strategies for all parts of the group – nationwide stores, online, tourist, pop up stores and flagship destinations.Direct and manage the annual consumer calendar for the business and lead key projects cross functionally to deliver targets and drive revenue.Work closely with the ecommerce and marketing teams to drive traffic onto the site, both domestic and internationally, in line with the budget Analyse retail market trends, consumer behaviour and insights to identify opportunities for growth.Work up strong local marketing plans that will drive key locations forward, and work closely with the shopping centres to drive the Kilkenny Design brand forward.Work with the VM, Retail and buying teams to agree plans that add to the overall customer experience of the brand and bring new excitement to customers e.g. digital & in store Pop Up stores, Live selling events, in store events.Be very commercially savvy and work with the other functions to deliver strong commercial levers that will drive trade. Digital MarketingImplement and oversee SEO strategies with our external partners to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.Plan and oversee paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram, and to continuously monitor and optimize ad performance to achieve targeted ROI.Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns through our CRM programme to drive customer retention and loyalty.Take a step back on the Kilkenny Design VIP rewards programme which launched in 2023 and make clear recommendations on how we strengthen this into the future.Utilize analytics tools to track, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives.Provide regular insights to the business and recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness.Work with retail and ecommerce teams to grow the overall data for the business and align on plans to maximise this value of this data for the customer and for Kilkenny Design. Campaign & Brand Management:Overall responsibility for the creation and implementation of the annual & quarterly marketing plans, budgets and KPI’s for the Kilkenny Design to drive traffic and sales. This role will lead out on the delivery of the marketing plans with their team for key events across the year.Work closely with the Senior Brand Manager to plan and execute social media campaigns to drive traffic instore and online.Collaborate with creative, retail and buying teams to develop compelling in-store and online displays, promotions, and campaigns.Work with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and representation across all retail channels and execute initiatives to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty. Collaboration & PartnershipsLead the Champion Green strategy and plan for the group, working closely with the trade bodies, agencies, and programme partners. Manage media buying and PR relationships, oversee events, social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, website conversions, tourist engagement activity, database marketing, design and print, and internal communications.Work with marketing agencies to maximize Kilkenny’s share of voice and awareness and to deliver positive word of mouth on the brand, while driving footfall and traffic to the brand across all channels.Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with retail goals and objectives.Collaborate with Buying teams to understand and highlight key product features in marketing materials.Conduct market research for the business to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.Utilize data and insights to make informed decisions and refine marketing strategies. Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.· Proven experience in retail marketing, preferably in a managerial role.· Strong CRM and loyalty experience· Excellent People Management experience· Strong communication, planning and follow through.· Proficient in using marketing analytics tools.Kilkenny Design is an equal opportunity employer.
