The position is based at our HQ in Dunboyne, Co.Meath and will provide the right candidates with a clear pathway to build a career within Kilsaran. As a Senior Logistics Planner you will be given the opportunity to learn via a blend of practical and personal development experiences such as: ·       On the Job learning focused on Kilsaran processes and activities within the CP+A business unit and supply of Concrete products from our manufacturing locations. ·       Kilsaran logistics system and processes training·       Tailored learning though internal or external resources Responsibilities:·       Plan the most effective daily transport and delivery schedules for each manufacturing location.·       Lead a logistics team to manage our business process for order - delivery including customer service. ·       Work closely with manufacturing location managers and batching teams to deliver effective production planning, understand location capacity and product capability. ·       Oversee process orders received via telephone, email, face-to-face or Sales Team. ·       Responsible for vehicle planning and allocation of fleet to locations to fulfil daily orders. ·       Ensure all customer orders are delivered within agreed timeframes. ·       Ensure on-going effective communication with site teams, fleet, production locations, technical and sales. ·       Understand and achieve specific targets regarding utilisation of trucks, costs and empty journeys. ·       Work closely with dispatch teams to maximise the utilisation of trucks.·       Oversight on the delivery of the right products and material quantities to customers.  Skills Required:·       5+ years’ experience working in a logistics or dispatch office. ·       Strong knowledge of systems/detailed administration. ·       Logistics experience within manufacturing would be beneficial.·       Supply Chain or Logistics third level qualification is desirable.
