DPS Group is expanding its L&D function to meet the development needs of its people and this is an opportunity to influence the creation of entirely new learning support for the organisation. As the Learning & Development technical specialist you will work across our global business to support the development and delivery of the Central Learning & Development Strategy and specifically the learning content for the development of technical and behavioural competencies.Role OverviewReporting to the Head of Learning & Technical Development and partnering with the organisations subject matter experts, you will be responsible for designing and developing online Behavioural & Technical skills training on DPS Groups Learning Management System, utilizing various content authoring software to the specifications and requirements of your external and internal customers. The successful candidate will blend exceptional instructional design and communication skills with strong business acumen.Responsibilities:Assist in developing and implementation of a learning & development strategy.Engage stakeholders to capture business, learning, and assessment requirementsDesign and develop robust and scalable eLearning Courses that deliver award-winning experiences to the userDevelop existing training content into interactive and engaging eLearning coursesProvide instructional design and support to customers via online support portal and face-to-face where requiredDesign, develop, maintain and deliver DPS Groups onboarding, training, and support materialsManage the Global Learning Management System and system administrators in each Business UnitRequirementsExcellent communication and collaborationExpertise in eLearning Authoring Tools and Instructional DesignAn ability to support the delivery of materials that include but are not limited to: Needs Assessment Reports, Design Plan Documents, Course Outlines, Storyboards, Instructor Guides, Student Guides, Video Scripts, Style Guides.Demonstrated experience using a variety of technologies, techniques, and tools including but not limited to: HTML, Microsoft Office, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline 3, Rise and other custom solutions to support the creation of learning solutionsStrong technical backgroundKnowledge of applying the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) Instructional Systems Design model; including experience conducting data gathering, analysis, and development of measurable learning objectives mapped to Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) and/or Job Qualification Standards (JQS)Experience with pedagogical and andragogical strategiesComfortable learning new technologies and working in a fast-paced environmentStrong business and customer success acumenKnowledge of skill/behavioural modelling is desirableExpertise in building Simulations, serious games and/or other non-linear learning experiences is desirableExperience with multimedia (including video production) is desirableStrong knowledge of Simulation/Game Design desirable3+ years of relevant experienceM.Sc.,/ M.A., in a relevant field, or a degree plus experience in a similar role which includes a focus on training design
