Senior Electrical Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the Engineering Partner of choice Suir Engineering. Suir Engineering has offices in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. We deliver leading edge next generation solutions to clients by designing, building, and installing Data Centers, Pharma and Medical Device plants and Renewable Energy Systems. We are currently recruiting for an Senior Electrical Engineer on a full-time permanent basis to join our growing business. The position will be based in Copenhagen, Demark on a rotational basis.Overall Role Objective The Senior Electrical engineer is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. The Electrical Engineers will be involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover.Key Responsibilities/DutiesAssist with the preparation of technical and contract documentation for issue.Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.Prepare method statements and risk assessments.Carry out document control, recording and transmitting information.Liaising and co-ordinating with clients, other members of the design team and contractors on technical issues.Managing all technical queries on site and assist project team in all site electrical engineering issues to include: the management, the planning, the testing and commissioning and the handover of all project systems.Prepare programs using MS project.Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate program of assigned engineering work and projects.Assemble bid, approval, and construction issue drawing packages.Evaluate the effectiveness of the design and change if necessary.Estimate cost, reliability, and safety factors.Use computers extensively to produce and analyse designs.Generate specifications for parts.Control the efficiency of processes.Supervise technicians and other engineers during development phase.Build, test and modify product prototypes.Any other reasonable and relevant duties as requested by your Manager, necessary to meet the ongoing needs of the company.Qualifications / SkillsAn honours degree in electrical engineering.Experience required between at least 1 year (This will depend on level junior/Mid-Level/Senior)Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages.Ability to work to strict deadlines.In return from Suir:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceEmployer Pension contributionContribution to Private Healthcare22 days annual leaveEmployee Wellbeing and Employee Assistance ProgrammeOur way of working is called the Suir Way, designed to help us continually improve. The benefit for employees is:Our people are empowered to make changes to ensure a quality install through effective ways of working.Our people have a voice and feel empowered.We have an in-built culture of innovation, learning and continuous improvement.Value is delivered every step of the journey. Our efficient processes deliver value.We have a standard, consistent and fully integrated health, safety, environment, and quality system within the businessAt Suir Engineering are an equal opportunities employer, we value our greatest asset …. our People.
