This role will lead digital campaigns across major racing events, support strategic projects, and manage agency relationships — all while helping to grow the reach and impact of Irish racing at home and internationally.The role plays a central part in planning and executing high-impact campaigns, managing key agency relationships, and representing Irish racing at major international events. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will work closely with the digital marketing team and wider marketing and communications teams in HRI. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Campaigns & Events Lead the digital team’s strategic presence at major international events (e.g. Royal Ascot, Prix de l'Arc), amplifying Irish racing’s global impact.Plan and deliver high-impact digital campaigns for key Irish festivals including the Dublin Racing Festival, Punchestown, Galway, and Irish Champions Festival.Support digital activations for World Pool events and HRI Awards, economic impact and seasonal title campaigns.Develop campaigns across defined content streams (e.g. horse care, RMS, #GreenTeam).Digital Strategy & Channel Execution Contribute to HRI’s digital-first strategy, aligning content and campaigns across web, social, email, and paid media.Collaborate with agencies (e.g. Sportsbeat, World Horse Racing, CLODA) to produce effective and engaging campaigns.Work with the Digital Marketing Manager on monthly digital budget management for Group and racecourses.Supervise social and email outputs via the Digital Engagement Executive, ensuring consistency and creativity.Provide UTM tagging, SEO, and analytics support across marketing activity.Content, Data & Platform GrowthLead the SEO audit for HRI.ie and coordinate implementation with internal teams.Support the commercial team by enhancing digital content and storytelling around sponsorships and features.Work with CRM team to grow and enrich HRI’s data, ensuring retention and engagement strategies are in place.Oversee post-campaign analysis and present key learnings to the Marketing & Commercial team.Work with digital and RMS teams to support for HRI-owned racecourses, advising on local digital strategies. Project manage the ongoing redevelopment of HRI’s suite of websites.Skills and Experience:5+ years in a digital marketing role with demonstrable campaign and channel management experience.Strong knowledge of digital advertising platforms (Meta, Google, X/Twitter) and website optimisation.
