Senior Cardiac PhysiologistAn opportunity has arisen to join our Cardiology team, as a Senior Cardiac Physiologist. This is a permanent, full time position.Purpose of post:To be familiar with the techniques and range of equipment used in current medical practice for the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients referred to the Cardiology Clinic. Professional qualifications, registration, essential skills & knowledge:Possess the BSc in Clinical Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent. Or possess the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement from Dublin Institute of Technology or equivalent.Have two years (post qualification) experience in Echocardiography and / or Cardiac CatheterisationThe successful candidate should possess good interpersonal skills and an awareness/sensitivity towards patient needs.The successful candidate must be available to work flexible hours/shift work and staff our outreach clinics.Strong organisational skillsAbility to work on own initiative as well as part of the multi-disciplinary team.Job Description available on request. THE MATER PRIVATE HOSPITAL IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES EMPLOYER
