Senior Business Partner – Medical HRDeputizing for the Medical Manpower ManagerThe role will perform a key tasks in the following areas:ProjectsStrategyWork SchedulingAny other duties as required by Medical Manpower ManagerLiaise with Consultants, MUHLiaise with Clinical DirectorateReporting and Compliance The following key objectives are also vital:Espouse the MUH values and develop strategies to ensure their perpetuity in the MUHAct as a role model and mentor for the HR/MMP agenda within the organisationResponsibilities  Consultant Contract Implementation:Lead/participate on the implementation and roll-out of all aspects of the Public Only Consultant Contract 2023 (POCC2023).Action work pertaining to POCC 2023 as appropriate at a local level.Engage with key stakeholders around work scheduling /rosters.Engage with Clinical Directorate, Medical Manpower Manager and relevant internal and external stakeholders around the POCC2023.Understand the operating environment of a unionized Acute hospital setting, presenting information about projects to a range of internal and external stakeholders.Compliance:Ensuring compliance with HR policies. Develop, monitor and update HR practices and procedures to ensure they are in accordance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.Preparation of documentation around the POCC 2023 for Audits.Provide support and assistance to the Medical Manpower Manager as required. Maintain hospital wide knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and practices to perform staff roles effectively and to ensure standards are met. Customer Service:Develop a deep understanding of the operational and strategic challenges of the area you support from a HR perspective and support the delivery of the objectives of that area from a HR perspective.Develop the engagement model/interventions for your area.Develop and deliver culture and values initiatives for your area as required.Promote and maintain a customer focused environment.Build the relationship with customers & stakeholders at all levels to ensure the provision of appropriate HR advice and support.Provide high quality HR support during change projects, resource & headcount planning, IR/ER issues, probation management, grievances, dignity at work, training needs, audits and all other HR related needs.Ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner.Human Resources:Work with the Medical Manpower Manager (MMM) and MMP colleagues (including external) to build and embed best practice in Medical Manpower/HR.Continuous Professional Development – maintain and improve your knowledge of HR, relevant legislation, health sector etc.Support the MMM in the delivery of the Strategic and Operational HR plan as defined.Ensure the well-being of staff within own remit or in area is looked after.Providing a quality service and support colleagues in the same.Cross cover in the department and co-operate and work in harmony with other teams and disciplines. Other duties:Lead on or contribute to monthly/annual and other ad-hoc reports and department documentation as required.Keep up to date on emerging trends and best practice in Projects, Compliance and Training.Closing date Thursday, 1 August 2024.
