Senior bar person (function & events)

Cabra castle are recruiting: Fantastic opportunity to join our team - Winner of Great places to work award 2024! As bar tender / bar person your main duties will be:To Ensure the cleanliness and order; correct mis-en-place and set up of the bar prior to and during service, ensuring guests are warmly greeted, with beverages promptly served to a high standard as set by the general standards of a four star castle hotel.To report for duty on time and in the correct uniform,as outlined in your induction handbookTo ensure that the bar area is kept clean and fully stocked at all timesTo Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulationsTo Ensure the accuracy of all floats by checking them and reporting irregularities (senior bar personnel only)You are responsible for:the efficient dispensing and serving of drinksOn occasion, the efficient service of bar food, with full tray set up to the standard of a four star castle hotel.Ensuring food is served when required, in accordance with and with respect for the standard set by the chef.Ensuring guest need are met and guests are satisfied Requirements for bar person:Must be age 18+Must have fluent written & spoken EnglishPermission to reside & work in IrelandAbility to reliably commuteCustomer service focusedAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a teamPrevious experience preferred but not essential Benefits to Bar person;Professional / friendly work environmentCompetitive rates of payCareer progression opportunitiesEmployee incentives & reward schemeStaff meals on dutyFree car parkingEmployee assistance programme Full job description available upon request
