Position: Senior Bar PersonLocation: Rochestown Lodge Hotel, Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin Rochestown Lodge Hotel are currently recruiting for a Senior Bar Person to join the teamThe HotelRochestown Lodge Hotel is ideally located on the fringe of Dun Laoghaire town and short distance to Dublin city centre. The modern three star hotel offers 900 spacious guest rooms, bar restaurant and a selection of meeting rooms. Facilities in the hotel include a 15 metre deck level swimming pool, gym and Spa.Your New RoleWe are looking for an experienced Senior Bar Person who has extensive knowledge of all Beverages with a keen interest in Mixology, Spirits, Beers, Whiskeys and Wines. The position requires a keen eye for detail to deliver a high standard of beverage service consistently. You will have the opportunity to work as part of the enthusiastic and friendly team. You will demonstrate a positive attitude and flexible approach to work, and have the ability to communicate openly and effectively. Duties included in the role are: To greet guests on arrival and seat them appropriatelyFull knowledge of all items (food & drinks) on the menuStocking up bar and preparing for serviceKeeping your work area clean and tidyClearing down after serviceHandling cash & credit card paymentsAssisting and helping out in the restaurant when it's requiredRequirements:Minimum 2 years experience working as a bar personPrevious experience in a fast paced environment.Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operationFluent English and excellent communication skills. Why Work With Us? We are a team of talented professionals who work well together and we are a fun team to work with.
