Blackrock Clinic is a progressive and pioneering hospital in which care for the patient is central to everything we do. In the position of Senior Acute Care Physiotherapist (Rotational) while carrying a clinical case load, the role will be responsible for patient assessment along with development and implementation of best practice treatment plans. Other aspects of the role are (but not limited to):-      Co-ordinating and developing a quality patient centred physiotherapy service across the organisation-      Rotating as a senior through Cardiothoracics, Orthopaedics and General Medical/Surgical-      Document Patient records in accordance with professional standards and departmental policies-      Develop and promote professional standards of practice.-      Act as a mentor to colleagues and leader in research methodology To be considered for this role you need: -      A qualification recognised by the Registration Board at CORU-      Post graduate courses in, or relevant to, acute medical care in physiotherapy-      Display evidence of reflective practice, in-service training, courses attended and Clinical Governance gained-      At least 2 years clinical experience working with the adult population in an acute hospital setting The above are all part of what makes up the full job description which can be requested.
