Job Purpose We are seeking a highly experienced Reception/Patrol Security Officer who has an extensive knowledge in customer service, Security and can provide our 6-Star front of house service delivery. This is a fulltime role, working 4 on 4 off days and nights (0700-1900hrs, 1900-0700hrs), averaging 42 hours per week. The payrate for this role is £14.27 per hour and you will be entitled to 19.6 days holiday per annum. Key Responsibilities· Deliver a 6–star guest experience at all times· Ensure all visitors experience the full customer journey· Proactive Lobby hosting and lift escort management as per site SOP’s· Sensitive customer interaction while maintaining a cohesive acknowledgement of all guests· Be proactive and anticipate any action client or customer requirements in a professional manner· Issue visitor passes using agreed sign in and out policies and procedures· Communicate where required visitor or client arrivals with a high level of discretion · Provide a high level of concierge services and have a wide knowledge of provisions within local and surrounding areas· Ensure all landlord contractor access is pre-authorised and in accordance with risk assessment/permit to work conditions, and directing contractors to the correct entrance· Handle mail and courier enquiries with discretion and sensitivity, by directing them to the loading bay entrance · Provide administrative support/incident report writing· Ability and fore sight to create a safe environment for all guests and visitors · Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift · Maintain a high level of security awareness at all times for visitors and guests, creating a safe and secure environment, including but not limited to monitoring the speed lanes and ensuring that all persons doing through them are authorised · Assisting dog owners, groups with suitcases, pushchairs and other large items, through the speed lanes.· Providing periodic patrols to main entrance walkway to ensure smokers, rough sleepers and other vagrants are moved away from the building· Break relief for other members of the reception team· Assist the clients Customer Experience Team with events in the reception area, including set up, during the event and dismantle· In the event of a fire alarm activation, assist by controlling the main entrance area, ensuring that no one enters the building and assisting with people exiting the building Person SpecificationProfessional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self–motivated team playerHolds a true passion for high standards of customer service deliveryA keen interest and high level of IT/computer skills would be an advantage Ability to provide 6-star guest experiencePrevious experience in hospitality or a customer service facing roleExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levelsHigh standard of presentationAbility to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as requiredLook for opportunities to enhance client/visitor experienceClear, concise and confident communication skills which are customer service orientated with a very keen eye for detailMaintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all timesComputer literate with good email etiquette.
