Security and Event Officer

Vigilant Security are currently seeking part time/casual SIA operators to assist managing events across museums andCorporate buildings in the London Area. This is a great opportunity to earn a little more out with any fulltimeResponsibilities such as other work or education. Events can be anything from 4-12 hours long depending on ourclients request. All sites are accessible using public transport. Your Role:You will provide a professional, responsive and observant security presence.The Security Officer duties on this site are varied they will include elements of reception duties, access control, signing contractors in/out of site, crowd management and in some cases protecting the client’s license. Good customerservice and attention to detail to ensure all attended have a joyful and safe event. We Offer:Pay Rate £13.15 to £14.90 per hour depending on site.Applicants must be flexible.Full and ongoing training with a view for career development.Annual leave accrued hourly.Company uniform provided.Further working at specialist events as and when required Candidate Requirements: Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence essential.Fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landlinecontact numbers.Excellent communication & administration skillsReliable with excellent time-management skills.Smart, well-groomed and confident.Conflict management aware.High level of Customer Care Awareness.Security systems knowledge.Telephone/switchboard skills.First Aid training would be an advantage.IT literacy would be an advantage. About Us:Vigilant Security covers a range of security-related services including manned guarding, mobile patrols, and keyholding. We currently employ 1000 members of staff across the UK and cover a range of security-related services including manned guarding, mobile patrols and keyholding.
