Principal Duties:Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets.Management oversight of all shops in territory to include the management of the shop manager, organisation of social activation staff and knowledge of volunteer cohort.Conduct regular shop visits to include shop checklist and floor walks to ensure that shop is set up for commercial success, has sufficient stock of necessary items & supplies to complete weekly operations.Review of shop performance versus plan, shop category sales, pricing, donations , Tougher stock, floor space usage , rail usage.Ensure that inter shop stock transfer is in operation, that value from donated stock is maximized and that Vision Ireland stock rotation policy is in operation.Identify shop improvements with store manager on an ongoing basis and conduct performance management meeting with shop managers – deal with any disciplinary and HR issues that may arise in the area.Shop manager recruitment; conduct interviews, maximize options in event of manager stepping down for any reason, develop volunteers and social activation staff.Report to Head of Retail/Region on any shop issues and to office manager on weekly shop sales.Assist shop managers in implementing a fundraising program for the year.Ensure that target profit returns are achieved in the shops across the area, demonstrating strong commercial acumen through weekly action planning.Ability to work digitally with a future focused attitude toward technologyPromotion of the VISION IRELAND brand through a variety of local channels in a cost effective manner whilst ensuring communications are in keeping with brand standards.Responsibility for all health and safety in accordance with statutory obligations to include training, adherence to fire procedures and maintenance of all safety and first aid equipmentBenefits of working with VISION IRELAND:Full-time permanent contracts with ample opportunities for career progression across a large nationwide network of retail stores.Competitive salary and annual leave.Educational sponsorship assistance and support.Employee Assistant ProgrammeCompanywide learning and development opportunities.Selection Criteria: Selection criteria outline the qualifications, skills, knowledge and/or experience that the successful candidate would need to demonstrate to be successful in the role.
