The Role - Community & Events Fundraising Executive  The Community and Events Fundraising Executive will support the delivery of the Community Fundraising Targets for Vision Ireland across the island of Ireland. Key areas of support required are project management, event coordination, administration, relationship building and management, CRM (Salesforce) input and reporting, supporter stewardship, and the implementation of Vision Irelands community fundraising activities and campaigns.  Reporting to the Fundraising manager, this role will lead all community fundraising events. There will be a strong focus on developing relationships within our own retail network of over 130 shops. This is a full time, permanent position based in our Head Office in Dublin 9 with occasional travel required within Ireland and possibility of overseas travel required a couple of times per year. By cultivating relationships with donors, organising events, and crafting compelling campaigns, they ensure a steady flow of funds to support our vital services.  Responsibilities – What you will do The overall function of this role is to engage and support the regional, nationwide, and overall fundraising team and community volunteers to meet fundraising targets and promote the organisation effectively as one team with one vision. Duties & responsibilities will include:  Project & Events Coordination Manage and develop fundraising campaigns from start to finish, delivering on time and within budget, liaising with supporters/volunteers who want to fundraise for Vision Ireland.  Act as liaison for all community and retail-related fundraising initiatives, providing support to the Retail Management Team in coordinating activities in line with Vision Irelands Fundraising Plan, such as annual campaigns, activities, public fundraising campaigns, and community events in your area. Achieve annual regional income targets along with rolling out national fundraising campaigns. Develop and drive key community initiatives and fundraisers including digital and virtual event fundraisers and challenges, and national funding drives. Communication Arrange communications to donors to express appreciation for their support.  Proactively secure community fundraising in the area through second and third-level educational institutions, community groups, and local businesses. Development of pitches and talks to secure fundraising opportunities with local events and other fundraising opportunities, both through retail stores and within the community.  Administration Manage cash handling & banking, recording and receipting incoming cash to the department in line with Cash & Post Handling Procedure. Input data into the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on a daily or weekly basis, to ensure donor and volunteer committee information and results can be monitored regularly.  Develop regular reporting for stakeholders.   Selection Criteria – What you need.Essential Excellent organisational, project & event management skills with the ability to prioritize a heavy workload and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills with ability to create and maintain relationships with varied stakeholders.  Ability to create and manage pipeline for events, creating and monitoring the yearly event calendar with planning and preparation completed accordingly Confident computer skills to enable the use of online fundraising platforms Ability to work in a dynamic team environment. Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce experience is beneficial) Full driving licence with access to transport, along with the ability and willingness to travel nationally & internationally, when required. Preferable Experience of growing income in the not-for-profit sector  Experience in using Salesforce system Accessibility, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion:   Vision Ireland is committed to creating an inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is afforded equality of opportunity. It is our policy to recognise people as a key resource required for successful attainment of the organisation’s mission.
