Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort has a new opportunity for Restaurant Manager to join the Team.The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.­Primary objective of position:Under the general guidance of the General Manager and Operations Manager maximise guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability by managing the restaurant and its staff and execute food and beverage marketing and sales strategies.  All work is carried out in line with the hotel’s guidelines and business plan, the departmental business plan and service conceptsMain duties and responsibilities:To achieve restaurant revenue goals by executing marketing and sales strategies as established in the business planTo look for creative ways to promote and execute strong guest relations activities and procedures with regular and VIP guestsTo check the restaurant reservations in Table Path, hotel arrival list and VIP list to ensure that own staff is aware of VIP guests and use name when appropriate To carry out regular checks to ensure guests receive efficient, knowledgeable and courteous service and high quality productsTo maximise guest satisfaction by communicating customer specifications to kitchenTo create training plan and succession plans for restaurant team membersTo serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviorTo provide Head Chef and Operations Manager with accurate forecasts To ensure that the team is familiar with new menu itemsRequirements:At least 2 years management experience in Restaurant environmentExperienced in dealing with high volumes and fast paced working environmentsSelf-motivated individual who sets a positive example for employees by their attitude and performanceDemonstrates high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalismAn excellent command of the English languageFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekendsExcellent communication skillsEmployee Benefits:Meals on dutyRefer a Friend ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Recognition AwardsTeam Member Accommodation & F&B discounts in Windward Management propertiesLearning & Development opportunities within the hotel and the groupComplimentary parkingReferences:All employment offers made are subject to a valid work permit and us receiving a satisfactory referenceAbout Windward Management Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
