Over the course of our 2 year programme you travel around many our 9 production sites in Europe and gain hands on experience which will open the door to multiple opportunities and a life long career. You will be supported with on the job and external training, experience and work alongside a number of different departments of the business and connect with mentors and other graduates across the company.As a key member of the Research & Development team you will be assisting with the implementation and generation of projects across numerous sites in Europe, all the while learning in a structured training programme. Key Responsibilities:Support in the formulation of recipes and follow through of amendments which meet legal and nutritional requirementsImplement projects which promote cost efficiency and least cost practiceSupport in carrying out recipe trials and interpreting analysis results Coordination of projects, tracking progress and management of timelinesGathering and filtering of data relevant to key projects Development of new ideas and raw material alternatives which add value to the business Challenge the way things are done and come up with solutions to continually improve production and processingThe Ideal Candidate: 3rd level food/animal/agricultural science qualification or equivalent Keen interest in feed/food ingredients and animal nutrition Understanding of animal biology and food chemistry Excellent communications skills for working with other departments and across different countriesGood organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Problem solving and decision making skills Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment Ability to work independently with good initiative Microsoft excel experience Flexibility & willingness to travel to our EU sites
