Ailesbury and Ashbury Private Nursing Homes are both owned and managed by the Fagan Family, who have over 30 years experience in Elder Care. Since 1989, we have been dedicated to providing the highest standard of comprehensive care services across our two South Dublin locations.The Role: The Human Resources Department is responsible for managing and providing support in the various human resource functions, and the Recruitment/HR Administrator will play a vital role in recruitment, retention, performance management, training and development, whilst also helping to develop a strong, supportive and respectful culture amongst peers that enhances staff morale, creates a positive work environment, resulting in excellent standard of care for our residents. ResponsibilitiesProvide HR support, advice and assistance to managers, supervisors and staff.Manage end to end recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees and implementation of retention strategies and initiatives.Work closely with the HR manager, in supporting the HR function throughout the business.     Offer business and HR recommendations to Directors, advising on changes in legislation, new HR approaches, and their implementation.Facilitate staff meetings across the two sites.Participate in staff performance appraisals/reviews.Assist Managers with grievance and disciplinary procedures.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring effective compliance.Provide administration support in the form of letters, reports and presentations.Maintain accurate and high quality personnel files and training records, ensuring effective compliance, and have a good working knowledge of policies and procedures within the company.Recommend, design and implement training and learning development programmes and identify training needs and opportunities.Have the ability to communicate and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.RequirementsThree years recruitment experience in high volume recruitment environmentKnowledge of HIQA Standards and legislation.Be familiar with all relevant employment legislation and other legislation governing effective operation of nursing homes.Travel between Ailesbury (Sandymount) and Ashbury (Blackrock) Nursing Homes.Why Join UsEstablished Reputation: Be part of a well-established company in the healthcare sector, where family values are integral to our operations.Career Development: We offer ample opportunities for professional growth and career advancementImpactful Work: Participate in building and nurturing a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing excellent standards of care in our private nursing homes.APPLY TODAY : Join us in making a difference.
