Lawsons Group is the UK’s largest independent fencing, timber and builders’ merchants and now boasts 36 branches, 700 employees and £200 million turnover, founded in 1921 and operates across London and the South East of England.Job Purpose StatementWe are looking for a Recruitment Business Partner to join our HR department and help develop and implement successful recruiting strategies with alongside our already established Recruitment Advisor. Recruitment Business Partner responsibilities include coordinating with hiring managers, identifying job requirements, and determining qualification criteria for candidates. If you have in-depth experience with recruiting procedures, from advertising job openings to interviewing and evaluating candidates, we’d like to meet you. Knowledge of online and offline sourcing techniques is required. Ultimately, you will ensure we attract and hire the most qualified candidates who cover our hiring needs, meet our long-term objectives, and add to our company culture.This position will be based working at our Head Office Branch in Colney Heath - postcode AL4 0PG. (Some travel will be necessary to meet job requirements)Working Hours will be 8.00am - 17.00pm (40 Hours a Week)Key AccountabilitiesPartner with hiring managers to identify current and future personnel needsDetermine optimal job advertising mix, including job boards, careers pages and social networksCraft sourcing strategies using online channelsHost and participate in recruitment events and job fairs to network with potential candidates in-personReview job descriptions to ensure they capture role requirements and use inclusive languageForge link with local schools and colleges, providing a network of potential candidates Advise recruiters and hiring managers on interviewing and evaluation methodsCalculate recruiting KPIs (e.g. time-to-hire and time-to-fill)Engage with passive candidates, building up a network of potential candidatesPrepare and monitor turnover and retention rates (company-wide and by department)Report on monthly, quarterly and annual recruitment budgetProvide training to line managers on best practice recruitment methodsWork with Recruitment advisor to develop, launch and embed new interview scriptsDesign succession plans and internal promotion policiesOversee onboarding for new hires, including developing the next phase of inductionRedesign employee referral scheme, keep this monitored and under review and continuously develop this tool as required by the businessDevelop and distribute candidate experience surveysPerson ProfileProven work experience as a Recruitment Business Partner, Recruitment Manager or similar roleUnderstanding of full cycle recruitingHands-on experience with candidate sourcing and interviewingFamiliarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databasesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to network via social media and other recruitment platforms Organizational and time-management skillsWhat is in it for you…·       Competitive salary - dependant on experience·       23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays·       Pension Scheme·       Death In Service Scheme·       Employee Assisted Programme
